It is notably insecure and should not be trusted for normal web browser. Alternative browsers, such as Mozilla Firefox are highly recommend over Microsoft Internet Explorer.
Microsoft Urges Users to Change Browser
After a recent serious vulnerability was discovered in Microsoft Internet Explorer, Microsoft have been urging users to change browser. Some publications have stated that Microsoft recommended Mozilla Firefox and have been quoted as recommending it over their own Internet Explorer web browser.
